We recently had the opportunity to visit the beautiful island that is Bali. On a quick whirlwind week we managed to squeeze in a visit to all of of the best parts - The Islands, The Cliffs & The Jungle. Here’s a small look into each….
THE ISLANDS
We took the boat from Sanur to arrive in paradise in under 30 minutes! Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan & Nusa Penida. A cluster of three beautiful islands where the water is so blue that you question if your eyes are permanently polarised.
Where to Stay: Le Pirate Beach Club
Where to Explore: Nusa Penida
THE CLIFFS
We stayed between Bingin Beach and Uluwatu for this portion of the trip. We found that up on the cliffs was quite possibly the best view point for a Sunset in Bali.
Where to Stay: Uluwatu Surf Villas
Where to Explore: When the tide went out we loved to explore down the bottom of the cliffs - but watch out for monkeys! Doing a fresh seafood dinner at Bingin Beach ON the beach where the water laps at your feet is also a must.
THE JUNGLE
Canggu was our last stop on the whirlwind Bali tour and we stepped in to a slice of peaceful paradise. Although we ventured out to enjoy sunsets near the beach bars, our accommodation was difficult to leave! The decor at our Villa was like nothing we’d ever seen before! Every nook and cranny was so photo worthy and you could see the thought and detail that went into it.
